I realized that today (well, yesterday…but, I haven’t gone to sleep yet) is Ansel Adams birthday. I came across this quote of his, and it struck me that if I replace a couple of words, the quote reads as this: “No (parent) has the right to dictate what (a child) should perceive, create or produce, but all should be encouraged to reveal themselves, their perceptions and emotions, and to build confidence in the creative spirit.” ….LOVE!
Annabelle, I hope that I always encourage you to reveal yourself and your perceptions and emotions. I hope that I embolden you to discover your authentic self, to freely nurture your creative spirit. I hope that I never impose my own feelings, opinions or expectations upon you. May you always be yourself, with your own hopes, dreams and ambitions, content in the knowledge that you are adored for your own unique individuality. You are a treasure, and may I always be grateful for the gift that is you.

She jumped right in!
Daddy picked the scrambler, of course. I love this one.
She definitely approved!
Spinning teacups!
Whooshing down a super slide!
And then….dunt dunt dunt… Annabelle spots the ride of all rides.
She climbs right in, barely able to contain her excitement.
(Notice how he’s surrounded by kids? Yeah, exactly.)
Wheeeee!!!
After the ride, so giddy! (They rode it THREE times in a row after this.)
Happy girl, holding a dolphin she won.
